Eli & Mary

"Sara understood immediately where we needed to make small changes and give our child the structure to feel safe and rested. "

Her methods are individualized, sensitive and nurturing. Our 4 year old was resisting sleep training that we provided to our other kids.   Sara checked in frequently to provide support and reassurance.

Illyana Annunziato

"She genuinely cares about us and our family. She checked in daily and generously" gave more support than we could have asked for.

By having her during the newborn phase she helped us establish healthy habits so that when sleep training came time it was a breeze!

Alexis Waters

"We even hired her again as a sleep consultant when our youngest was about 5 months old."

So sweet, showed great care for making sure things were done as we wanted them done, friendly, easy to talk to, and so professional.  Her attention to detail, care for making sure that her sleep plan lined up with our goals was so helpful and refreshing. We love Sara!

Stephanie Piney

I use a gentle, responsive approach to sleep training that is customized to each family’s needs, values, and baby’s temperament. My methods support healthy sleep habits without using extreme “cry-it-out” techniques. I focus on helping your baby learn independent sleep skills in a way that feels respectful, gradual, and supportive.

Some crying is a normal part of change, and babies often use crying to express frustration or adjustment to a new routine. However, my goal is never to leave you or your baby to struggle alone. I’ll guide you through how to respond with comfort and reassurance, while still allowing your baby the opportunity to learn new sleep habits in a safe and loving way. The plan we create together will always align with what feels right for your family.

While every baby is different and outcomes can vary, I bring experience, proven strategies, and a strong track record of helping families reach their sleep goals. Most of the families I work with see significant improvements when they follow the plan consistently. I tailor each approach to your baby’s unique needs and your parenting style, and I’m with you every step of the way to troubleshoot, encourage, and celebrate progress.

Yes, I do offer in-home sleep training for families who want hands-on support during the process. It can be a helpful option if you feel overwhelmed or want someone there to guide you in real-time. That said, in-home support is not necessary to be successful. The sleep plans I create are clear, personalized, and designed to work with the support I provide virtually or by phone. Many families get amazing results without the added expense of in-home visits, as long as they stay consistent and follow the plan. I’m here to support you either way! If you are interested in “in home sleep support, please contact me at sara@notapeepsleepconsulting.com to set up a consult to learn more.

We start with a thorough intake and conversation about your baby, routines, and family values. I also ask you to track your baby’s sleep & feeds and analyze this info throughout our entire time together. Then I create a customized sleep plan and walk you through it step by step, offering daily check-ins, encouragement, and modifications as needed.

Most families see progress within a few nights, with more consistent sleep habits developing over 1–2 weeks. I offer ongoing support to help you stay on track. It is also important to note that since I do prioritize a gentle approach to sleep training, it may take a little longer to see optimal results. However, slow and steady wins the race!

I don’t offer pre-made or one-size-fits-all sleep plans, and here’s why: every baby is different, and so is every family. What works beautifully for one child may not feel right—or even work at all—for another. I believe deeply in building personal relationships with each family I support. That connection allows me to create a sleep plan that’s not only tailored to your baby’s needs but also honors your parenting style, lifestyle, and values. My goal isn’t just better sleep—it’s to help you feel confident, supported, and understood throughout the entire process.

In addition to being a certified sleep consultant, I’m also a trained postpartum doula—which means I understand the emotional, physical, and practical challenges new parents face beyond just sleep. My approach is deeply rooted in nurturing the whole family, not just getting a baby to sleep through the night. I offer real-time, responsive support throughout the process, so you’re never left to figure things out on your own. Whether it’s a rough nap day or a tough night, I’m there to walk with you, troubleshoot in the moment, and offer encouragement when you need it most. It’s personalized, heart-centered care you can count on.
